Introduction

Hello there!

Welcome to my blog.  I was initially starting this to chronicle a study abroad trip to India I will be making this January but decided it would be a nice place to put my thoughts on a number subjects before and after the class in Pune.

I'm an aspiring musicologist, my primary area of interest being hymnody of the Latter-Day Saints.  As such, the name of the blog is taken from the names of two of my favorite figures in LDS hymnody, writer W. W. Phelps and organist Alexander Schreiner.

I hope this is read and look forward to sharing my adventures with you!
